Port Phillip Reserve Pinot Nair and the 1999 Wirra

Styrofoam containers must do a really great job of

"Eureka! You said you thought the wine would arrive
for Christmas and your elves have made it so! Both
cases arrived yesterday. It is all catalogued in our
Cellar Book and is resting comfortably in our La Cave
wine closet. We had the Charles Melton last night………VERY
nice and the Glaetzer Shiraz tonight. The Glaetzer
needed to be decanted for about 2 hours (which we did)
and it really came around in our big balloon red wine
glasses. Both are very nice. I think the Melton has
the slight edge over the Glaetzer……George
seemed to like both.
We're off tomorrow to spend a week in a country hotel in Connecticut. Supposed
to have wonderful food and a superb wine list. We'll let you know. Again, thanks
for taking such good care of us. Do let us know when you locate some more TF."
